Beyoncé Launches a Scholarship Program in Honor of Lemonade’s Anniversary

Most artists celebrate their album anniversaries with a tweet or an Instagram post but Beyoncé is doing something truly extraordinary to ring in the one-year anniversary of Lemonade.

The singer is launching Formation Scholars, a scholarship program for young women in college or graduate school. According to a statement posted on, the scholarship aims to “encourage and support young women who are unafraid to think outside the box and are bold, conscious and confident.”

Starting with the 2017/2018 academic year, four scholarships will be awarded to both current and incoming students studying creative arts, music, literature or African-American Studies. Currently, the only four participating universities are Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design and Spelman College. One student will be selected from each school for the four scholarships.

Just last week it was announced that Beyoncé’s Lemonade won a prestigious Peabody Award for its boundary-breaking achievements with judges writing the album, “draws from the prolific literary, musical, cinematic, and aesthetic sensibilities of black cultural producers to create a rich tapestry of poetic innovation.” The album also won two Grammys, eight VMAs, five BET Awards, four Soul Train Music Awards and four Emmy nominations.

And now, the visual album that empowered black women in a never-before-seen way will continue by helping young women achieve their dreams through the scholarship program.

I think that what you published made a ton of sense.
However, what about this? suppose you added a little content?
I am not saying your information isn’t good., however suppose you added a title that grabbed folk’s attention? I mean Beyoncé Launches a
Scholarship Program in Honor of Lemonade’s Anniversary – Ghana News
Network is a little vanilla. You might glance at Yahoo’s home
page and see how they create news titles to
grab viewers interested. You might try adding a video or a pic or two
to get people excited about what you’ve written. In my opinion,
it could make your blog a little bit more interesting.
